Our worship begins at 10:00am and is a blend of contemporary and traditional. A typical service is 60-75 minutes and includes announcements, worship music, prayer, communion (usually on the first weekend of the month), and messages that will help you apply God’s truth, love and will for your life in practical ways. At 9:30am every Sunday, we have a fellowship time complete with coffee and treats. You will see a wide range of styles of dress from jeans and a t-shirt to suits and dresses. Don’t feel like you have to dress up for us! Once a month we offer Kids Church during the sermon time where they can learn about God through stories and have fun with an activity or craft.
We are a group of mixed generational followers of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to know Christ and to make him known with a message that God wants to make all things new. We believe that through a personal relationship with God through Jesus, He will come into our lives so that old things of brokenness can pass away and God can do his work of making us new. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 4:23-24) People made new in Christ find Him to be the source of faith, hope, and love in both the inner life and in our outward actions engaging a world desperate for hope, love and life. (John 3:16-17)
Our tradition is Wesleyan, named in honor of John Wesley who founded the Methodist church in England. It was his vision of offering Jesus to the common people that led to great spiritual revival which brought about schools for orphans, medical assistance for the poor and a call for social justice in England and later in America. We believe that the Bible is God’s message of truth and loving restoration for us, and the need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and His call to change the world. We believe that there is intrinsic value in every person because we are all created and loved by God.

Present Suffering and Future Glory

In the wake of the murders in New York and the horrific shootings in a Texas church we all are looking for answers and for healing. With that in mind this passage came to mind that I believe will be helpful to us as we see that the whole creation is so broken it is...

Thankful For the Little Things

As we all walk through life, there are definite moments when you know God is reveling Himself to you in a special and unique way.  I experienced this recently when I was waiting at the doctor’s office.  I’ve been doing a LOT of that lately.  To keep myself occupied...

What Part Are You?

My first motorcycle was kind of a freak of nature. It was not traditional by any means. The frame was extended, the gas tank was from a different bike, many parts were custom made (badly, I might add), and the whole thing smelled like oil. But even with all that, it...

Toddler Conviction

There is nothing like having your three-year-old son convict you. We were sitting at a red light…not really in a hurry, but I’m just not a big fan of sitting at red light. Who is? If you are, you’re a sick person and need to seek help. Anyways…we were sitting at the...
